gbox_applet is a mbox file watcher. You can add as many
mailboxes as you wish. For each mailbox you can define
a separate interval for checking. Each mailbox belongs
to a priority class between 0 and 2. For all 3 priority
classes a different icon can be chosen.

Maybe some day I will use one of the mailing-lists of sourceforge, but
just if there are enough participants.

Bunti has set up a mailinglist for the applet. It feels similar to a
majordomo
list (at least that's the plan), but it is a self written Perl Script.
In order to subscribe to the list, just send a message to
gbox_applet-request@informatik.uni-bremen.de
with
subscribe
as the subject.
